CINCINNATI -- The Evanston neighborhood became the site of the city's 11th homicide of 2014 on Saturday.

Twenty-year-old Curtiss Hill Jr. was found after 10 p.m. on a sidewalk outside a home in the 3300 block of Woodburn Avenue.

Police confirmed Hill was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene.

Earlier in the day, Cincinnati police identified the city's 10th homicide victim, Steven Gilbert, 34, who was found Friday night suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at 3119 Murdock Ave. in East Price Hill. He died at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

Last year, there were six homicides in the city through the end of January.
