CINCINNATI - The Hamilton County Coroner's Office has identified the woman's remains found earlier this year buried beneath a basement in a home on Riverside Drive in the East End.
The remains of 52-year-old Kimberly Brown were found in the 3200 block of Riverside Drive on Sept. 29. Her body was wrapped in plastic and a sheet.
Authorities went to the home after receiving a letter from Richard Kuhn Jr., an inmate at the Warren Correctional facility, and son of the building's owner, Richard Kuhn Sr.
Richard Kuhn Jr. is serving a five-year sentence after pleading guilty last year to breaking into a house in Clermont County's Union Township.
Kuhn's 17-year-old nephew, Joe Gyarmati, who lived in the house with his mother and three brothers, told 9 News in September that the letter pinpointed the body's location and indicated that the victim's first name was "Kim."
"He (Richard Kuhn Jr.) said the reason that he did it was she testified against him," Gyarmati said.
A cause of death has not been determined.
