CINCINNATI -- This week on Pet Pals, Bob Howard from the Stray Animal Adoption Foundation joined us in studio with two puppies that need homes.

Lenny and Leah are 5-months-old Basenji mix puppies. They are a smaller breed with long legs, only weighing 15 lbs now and will only grow to about 25 lbs as adults. They are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, current on vaccinations, dewormed and ready to be adopted. They will be at the "5 Mile Petco" in Anderson Township beginning at 11am Saturday.

Thanksgiving is this week and Howard also wanted to remind everyone that there are some "leftovers" that are OK to feed your pet and some that should be avoided.

OK to feed - Turkey (no skin/no bones), Mashed potatoes (no stir ins/no gravy), green beans (no onions)

Avoid feeding - anything with onions, grapes, chocolate, artificial sweeteners and alcohol.
