Military Fitness Challenge benefits local Marine

CINCINNATI - A 2006 graduate of Taylor High School who was injured while serving in Afghanistan is the beneficiary of this year's Military Fitness Challenge.

Chad Ohmer has gone through 23 surgeries and has a long road to recovery.

Steve Owens founded the Military Fitness Challenge which includes the Chad Ohmer 5K on June 9. The Military Fitness Challenge started in 2011 as a way to raise money to support wounded soldiers as they return from battle.
