CINCINNATI - Since 1997 four local businessmen dreamed of opening arestaurant near the downtown stadiums.
Jim Moehring, part owner of The Holy Grail at The Banksrestaurant said his "dream will become a reality."
Last minute work is being completed on the group's dream. Over160 contractors are working to finish drywall, lighting, flooringand woodworking. The work started less than 60 days ago.
When finished, The Holy Grail will become the first restaurantto open at The Banks project.
The restaurant will have an open air feel, with garage doorsopening for outside seating, right across the street from the RedsHall of Fame.
Something unique to Cincinnati will be a tap table. The tablewill have two different kinds of beer that customers will be ableto pour on their own. The customer swipes a credit card and canaccess of up to ten beers, two per person will sitting at thetable.
Already 75 people have been hired and nothing on the menu willbe over $9.
Moehring hopes to be open in time for St. Patrick's Day. If not,the restaurant will definitely be up and running in time forOpening Day on March 31.
"We are going to open at 6 a.m. I think it's going to beawesome. It's going to be crazy. The Clydesdales will be heredelivering our beer."
