CINCINNATI -- A man faces an Operating a Vehicle Under the Influence charge after striking three parked vehicles downtown Sunday morning.
The suspect rammed one of those vehicles into a storefront, Cincinnati police said. The incident closed Seventh and Race streets for a short period of time as police cleaned up the scene.
Officers say driver lost control of his vehicle at about 4:30 a.m. while traveling eastbound down Seventh Street in Cincinnati's Central Business District neighborhood.
He first hit an Excursion, causing it barrel into the front of the Fast Signs location, before continuing on to hit two additional parked cars, according to Cincinnati police.
The vehicle came to a stop a short distance later.
A passenger in the vehicle that caused the wreck was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Their injuries were described as minor.
