Construction Apprenticeship Fair scheduled for Wednesday

CINCINNATI - A local job fair is looking for candidates interested in careers in construction.
The Greater Cincinnati Building and Construction Trades Council is hosting a Construction Apprenticeship Fair from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Super Jobs Center on Central Parkway.
Members of local construction trades will be on hand to discuss their apprenticeship programs and training. Trade workers available to speak with job seekers will include carpenters, electricians, laborers and pipefitters.
The apprenticeships include paid on-the-job training and last from three to five years, depending on the trade. College credit may also be earned.
Applicants must have earned a high school diploma or GED to be considered.
