Local hero gets proper burial
Bev Hills Supper Club hero needs hero

CINCINNATI - It is never too late to honor a hero.

Friends and strangers said goodbye to Bond Hill resident Willie Snow. He was buried in Vine Street Hill Cemetery Tuesday morning.

Snow saved strangers from one of the deadliest club fire in U.S. history at the Beverly Hills Supper Club in 1977.

Shorten and Ryan Funeral Home provided the services free of charge.

Snow died in August but wasn't immediately buried because the family didn't have the money to bury him.

"I wanted to pay my respects because; it was such a vivid memory of seeing that. And, he had such courage. And, that courage needs to be honored," said supporter Suzanne Skubick.

During his funeral doves were released.
