CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) was named one of the worst airports for holiday travel among 31 other major airports in the U.S., according to data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.

Of 32 major U.S. airports, CVG was ranked 7th worst, cancelling or delaying 4.26 percent of flights.

The list of the “worst” airports comes from looking at all the flights beginning on the Monday before Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve for the last 10 years and determining how many of those were delayed or cancelled because of bad weather.

Fortunately, even the “worst” major airport, Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD), still only delayed or cancelled less than eight percent of its flights.
