CINCINNATI - Officials have named the person killed in a North College Hill fire that broke out late Tuesday night.

Deputy Chief Steve Conn stated that Alexander Miller, 19, was home alone when a fire erupted on the second floor of his family's home in the 1900 block of Dallas Avenue just before 11:45 p.m.

Miller's body was found when firefighters arrived at the scene, according to police. Miller's cause of death, and what started the blaze, is still under investigation, according to authorities.

Three people and two dogs were safely evacuated from the residence, police say.

The victim's identity has not been revealed at this time.
