CINCINNATI - Village Life Outreach Project, which was founded by Cincinnati physician Dr. Chris Lewis, expands in Africa with a health clinic and many other projects.

Dr. Lewis founded the non-profit organization in 2004.

One of the initial projects included collecting donations to purchase mosquito nets for villagers in hopes of preventing the spread of malaria.

Lewis and dozens of volunteers, including corporate partners, have since helped to build a health clinic and provide a clean water system to villagers.

The group also takes volunteers twice a year to work on various projects in Tanzania.

Dr. Lewis will join Good Morning Tri-State anchor, Jenell Walton, Sunday at 8 a.m. to share some of the groups latest volunteer projects with our audience.

You can learn more about the group at www.villagelifeoutreach.org.
