CLIFTON, Ohio - University of Cincinnati President Santa Ono received a special haircut after the Bearcats played against the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame Monday night.

Ono made a promise that if the UC men's basketball team won 10 games in a row, he would shave his head to support the team along with the charitable organization, The Dragonfly Foundation.

A barber from Sports Clips shaved Ono's head in the middle of Fifth Third Arena after the team's loss to Notre Dame, 66-60.

UC Student Body President Lane Hart also took part in the head-shaving festivities.

The Dragonfly Foundation was established in 2010 and is an organization seeking to provide children and young adults who are being treated for cancer and blood disease distractions that will help ease the pain and fear of being sick. The Dragonfly Foundation plans events and works with celebrities to connect them with patients both in and out of the hospital.

To help support Ono's mission and The Dragonfly Foundation, you can make a $5 donation by texting CARE to 80100, donate by going to beAdragonfly.org or sign-up to volunteer to help.
