CINCINNATI - Two suspects are in police custody in connection with a street robbery in Clifton's Uptown area.
On Monday around 10 p.m. officials say a victim was punched and his wallet was taken near the 3400 block of Telford Street.
Police are investigating several other thefts in area – all of which occurred on Monday, March 25.
Around 12:40 p.m. a man grabbed a wallet and cellphone from a man at the intersection of West Clifton and West McMillan Street. The suspect is described as a male wearing a gray jacket and brown boots, riding a bicycle.
Shortly after 4 p.m. a woman was punched and her cellphone was taken in the 100 block of Lyon Street. The suspects are three black females described as approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall to 5 feet 9 inches tall. Police say all three were wearing tan pants with the tallest suspect in a bright blue hooded sweatshirt.
At 9:05 p.m. a female victim was punched and her property was taken in the 2300 block of Flora Street. There are two suspects in the robbery. Both are black males, 16-19 years old. One suspect was described as wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. The other suspect was wearing a gray and white striped hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Police are not releasing whether these crimes are connected.
