CINCINNATI -- Haven't seen Santa yet? Thanks to this week's warmer-than-average weather, you'll get an extra hour Tuesday to visit with the jolly old elf himself.
The PNC Festival of Lights at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden will stay open until 10 p.m. Tuesday so that more people can get in before Christmas; Santa's last night at the zoo is Wednesday (before he has to leave and get ready for his big night, obviously).
A basketball game at the University of Cincinnati (the Bearcats face Iowa State) could tie up traffic nearby, so zoo spokeswoman Michelle Curley recommends arriving early or after 7 p.m.
The zoo's even borrowing an extra parking lot for the last-minute Santa-seeking crowds, on the corner of Goodman Drive and Vine Street about three blocks away.
The Festival of Lights generally closes at 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. It's open through Jan. 2, but closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
