CINCINNATI -- With less than two weeks' time until Election Day, Chelsea Clinton is helping celebrate her mother HIllary Clinton's birthday with a campaign swing through the Buckeye State's three big Cs: Cincinnati, Columbus and Cleveland.

At a public event Wednesday morning at The Transept in Over-the-Rhine, Clinton drew inspiration from two of her mother's slogans to share what 2016's election is fundamentally about: "Love trumps hate" and "Stronger Together," although she said they cannot just be slogans. Watch her full speech in the video player below.

"This election is both about repudiating Donald Trump’s divisive, demeaning, degrading rhetoric that should offend all of us even if we’re not the people in his crossfire," Clinton said. "It’s also about supporting a candidate who has been making a positive difference in people’s lives for longer than I can even remember."

American values are also on the ballot, Clinton said, citing that our country will choose whether or not to support "the almost daily diet of hate speech that seems to be Donald Trump’s campaign strategy."

“It’s not an option to stay on the sidelines for this election. I think this is the most important presidential election of my lifetime," Clinton said.

Clinton also encouraged the electorate to vote early at the campaign stop. Clinton then continued on to Grove City (Columbus area) for an event at noon and then to Solon (Cleveland area) for a 3:30 p.m. event.

One of the reasons Clinton may be in Ohio is that the state is still one of four undecided states when it comes to the presidential election, according to ABC News race rankings. The other states include Utah, Arizona and North Carolina.

Democrats took Ohio in 2008 and 2012, but Ohio went to Republicans in 2000 and 2004. The latest CNN poll has Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump by five points, and CNN political experts report Clinton has extended her reach with younger voters and minorities. They also say Trump has gained among white voters without college degrees.

Chelsea Clinton will push for voters to cast their ballots early. The Hamilton County Board of Elections is offering extending early voting hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. this week and also on the weekends.
