CINCINNATI -- Former Bengal Anthony Munoz treated more than 30 students from Oyler School to pizza and new shoes Wednesday as a way to give back.

The day included a visit to Larosa's, where students were able to customize their own pizzas, and a stop at Payless, where they were able to pick out their own brand new pairs of shoes. Munoz said his foundation has been providing shoes to children in need for close to 10 years.

"It's amazing that we, as a foundation, can do this," Munoz said. "I know there's a lot of groups in this great area that are engaged and giving back. It's great to be a part of this team."

Munoz said he loves to give back because someone once gave to him.

"A lot of it stems back from my upbringing, and trying to honor those who poured into my life," he said. "My mom raised five of us and we didn't have a whole lot. It was organizations and individuals that poured into our lives, and I wanted to do the same thing."
