CINCINNATI -- A man was in surgery late Wednesday evening after police found him suffering from gunshot wounds behind a house in Westwood.
Police said the unnamed 18-year-old was found behind a home in the 2200 block of Harrison Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. He was shot at least one time in his right side, according to sources at the scene.
A K9 unit was used to help search for evidence and the shooter, but nothing was found.
The victim was conscious when he was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. His condition was not available as of early Thursday morning.
Law enforcement officials said the victim was not cooperating with the investigation.
