BLUE ASH, Ohio -- A SWAT team called to Blue Ash came up empty-handed Tuesday night in its search for John David Key, who is wanted on several felony warrants.

Police in Hamilton County received two phone calls reporting potentially dangerous activity at the same address just before 9 p.m. Tuesday. Hamilton County Dispatch said the first call was a neighbor reporting a felony suspect with an open warrant for drug trafficking and illegally carrying concealed weapons at 11066 Grand Ave.

The second, which came before law enforcement officials could respond to the first, said that someone at that address was armed. Authorities later identified the man as Key.

At 9:30 p.m., Hamilton County Dispatch said the SWAT team had surrounded the home in an effort to arrest Key, but he wasn't inside.

Authorities ask anyone with information in this case to call CrimeStoppers at 513-352-3040.
