Movie theater, restaurant hybrid Envision Cinemas coming to Blue Ash

BLUE ASH, Ohio – Want to order food and have it brought to your seat at the movie theater?

A new restaurant and theater hybrid coming to Blue Ash is here to help.

The City of Blue Ash’s Board of Site Arrangement approved plans this week for Envision Cinemas, an entertainment center with a 350-seat dining room, bar, patio and private party room.

The business will be the first of its kind in Cincinnati and is set to open at 4780 Cornell Road by summer 2015. The site was previously home to Bally’s Total Fitness.

Envision Cinemas’ menu will have more than 60 items, including made-to-order pizzas and flatbreads that can be prepared in less than three minutes in a high-powered pizza oven.

Other items on the menu include a variety of appetizers, salads, wraps, burgers, entrees and desserts.

The theater is planned to have 500 motorized recliners spread out over seven auditoriums, featuring new films and special events.

Seats in the auditorium will include call buttons so guests can order full food and beverage offerings before and during a movie.

President of Envision Cinemas Robbie Sosna said he is excited to bring a “quality, locally owned, independent casual dining restaurant” to the area.

“Blue Ash is a great place to live, work and play, and we felt as though it only made sense to launch our first business here,” Sosna said.

Construction is scheduled to begin later this summer.

Envision Cinemas plans to hire 125 to 150 employees.
