BLUE ASH, Ohio -- A serious crash involving two cars and a semitractor-trailer injured two drivers on southbound I-71 just south of I-275 around 2 a.m. Thursday.
Police say one car rear-ended the truck before the second car rear-ended it. Crews remained on scene several hours extracting the first car from underneath the truck. Two lanes of traffic remained blocked until 5:45 a.m.
The two injured drivers were taken to Bethesda North Hospital. The traffic division of the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department is handling the investigation.
