Graeter's named one of best ice creams in US

CINCINNATI - The Tri-State knows Graeter's is one of the best ice creams there is, but a list compiled by U.S. News and World Report gave national recognition to the Cincinnati ice cream company, naming them among the 12 best ice creams in the United States.

Graeter's came in 6th on the list of 12, with U.S. News and World Report highlighting their black raspberry chocolate chip, butter pecan and cinnamon flavors. The report credits Graeter's unique recipes based on the elaborate French Pot swirling process. Graeter's was also the cheapest best ice cream on the list, at just $2.75 for a scoop of their best.

Topping the list is another Ohio favorite, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams in Columbus, Ohio. Their highlighted flavor is brambleberry crisp, but that's just one of their many unique flavors like wildberry lavender and riesling poached pear sorbet.
