Firehouse Grill teams with Crime Stoppers

Special Events Planned Around Telethon

When Crime Stoppers holds its annual telethon on channel 9 Tuesday, the Firehouse Grill in Blue Ash will play a pivotal role.

The restaurant will hold its own silent auction to benefit Crime Stoppers, featuring hotel stays, a bicycle from Trek Bicycle, special offers from Patriot Home Security, and that just scratches the surface.

Also, in an effort to protect you from identity theft, you can have documents shredded on-site. A truck from Document Destruction will be there from 12 Noon till 1pm and from 5pm till 9pm. You can make a donation to Crime Stoppers, have your documents destroyed, and participate in other events while you're there.

In addition, former Bengal Ickey Woods will be there signing autographs and offering his support. Other celebrities will be dropping by as well.

There are many items up for bid in the online auction for Crime Stopper or you can simply make a donation.

Crime Stoppers receives no government funding and relies solely on donations to support its work of paying cash for anonymous tips. Those rewards go to tipsters whose information leads to arrests. In Crime Stoppers' 31 year history, more than 15 thousand cases were solved in Greater Cincinnati, southwest Ohio, northern Kentucky, and southeast Indiana because of those tips.

Channel 9 will present the Crime Stoppers Telethon Tuesday at 8pm with plenty more surprises and incentives. Join us then.
