CINCINNATI - Drag racing down a congested city street has put one person in a local hospital.

The driver of a red mustang was drag racing with another car down Hamilton Avenue in College Hill when they apparently lost control of their vehicle and crashed into two cars parked on the side of the road.

One of the parked cars, a van, ran into the front of a local business, Liberty Income Tax. There are no reported injuries to people standing near the parked cars or inside the business.

The driver of the mustang was taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation. There have been no reports as to the unnamed driver's condition or the extent of their injuries.

The police have provided no information regarding other parties that were participating in the drag racing.

The incident is currently under investigation by police.

9 News has sent a crew to the scene.
