CINCINNATI - Fire crews are working to determine what caused a fire at a Roselawn hotel Friday morning.
A fire started at the Sycamore Hotel, 7759 Reading Rd. at about 4:40 a.m. Crews fought the fire and extinguished the blaze by about 5 a.m. Officials closed Reading Road to traffic for about an hour as a precaution.
Officials have not yet said if anyone sustained injuries in the fire or what led to the flames.
Authorities have not yet released an estimated cost of damages.
The Sycamore Hotel has been the location of two shootings in the last eight months. The hotel was the location of a shooting in July where a female suspect shot a man in the neck. A few months later in January 2013, a suspect shot a victim at the hotel and then fled the scene.
