CRITTENDEN, Ky. - A Crittenden house is a total loss after a fire caused its roof to collapse Thursday morning.

The fire started at a house in the 300 block of Oakwood Drive at about 4 a.m. Officials say the family made it out safely and that no one sustained injuries during the blaze.

Crews from Dry Ridge, Crittenden and Williamsburg responded to fight the flames. Firefighters fought the flames, but their efforts didn't prevent the roof from collapsing in on the house. Authorities say the house is a total loss.
