Crash involving high school students leads to crash involving police cruiser in Anderson Township

ANDERSON TWP, Ohio -- An early morning crash in Anderson Township that injured two high school students led to a second crash involving a Hamilton County Sheriff’s cruiser, police say.

The crash happened at about 8:15 a.m. on Ayers Road, according to officers. A Dodge Durango a student was driving ran off the roadway and into a ditch.

Two students were taken to Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and a third student was released to parents.

A second crash occured when a vehicle on Asbury and Forest roads struck a police cruiser headed to the scene of the crash on Ayers.

No injuries were reported for the second crash.
