One person killed in three-vehicle crash in Clermont County

WAYNE, Ohio -- One person is dead after a crash in Clermont County.

The crash happened at about 7 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of Ohio 131 and Hunt Road, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Dispatchers said three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Troopers said a pickup slammed into the back of a parked garbage truck near the intersection.

Officers said the driver of the pickup was killed in the crash.

The victim’s name has not been released.

No other details have been released.
