NEW RICHMOND, Ohio -- An overturned propane truck shut down Laurel Road in New Richmond on Monday.
Police say the Lykins tanker swerved as an oncoming vehicle was approaching on the left side of the road around 3 p.m. The driver "misjudged" the turn and the tanker then flipped on its side.
Police say the tanker wasn't leaking any propane, but the Lykins Company responded to the scene of the accident to pump the truck as a precautionary measure.
Laurel Road re-opened nearly four hours later.
No one was injured.
