FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio – An elderly man is recovering after police say two men held him hostage in his own home.
The unnamed victim received two visitors stating they wanted to look at a car to buy on March 24, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office reports.
Once inside the man’s house the two male suspects tied him up and proceeded to take multiple items.
The suspects left the victim’s residence in a tan or white car, according to the sheriff’s department. The victim freed himself and called the police.
Sheriff’s deputies obtained images of the three people they believed were involved in the robbery.

The first male is described as white, 28-32 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches tall, with short dark hair and light beard. The second is described as younger and taller than the first suspect. Sheriff deputies linked a third person, a woman to the robbery as well.
The suspects are believed to be in the Dayton Ohio area.
