BATAVIA TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- One woman was killed in a crash Sunday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Stephen Pasley Jr., 30, was driving a 2000 Pontiac southbound on Amelia Olive Branch Road when he lost control, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole, troopers said in a news release.

Angela Estep, 28, of Batavia, was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash. She suffered fatal injuries.

Pasley was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

Troopers said they suspected alcohol contributed to the crash.

It was still under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
