UNION TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Authorities say a man ran into I-275 traffic Friday morning in an apparent suicide.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol said a 27-year-old Cincinnati man kneeled at the end of the retaining wall near an overpass at Beechmont Avenue and then ran directly into the path of a semi-truck at about 6:20 a.m.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police had to close multiple lanes as they cleared the crash. The roadway reopened by about 9:30 a.m.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
