AMELIA, Ohio -- Clermont County residents battling back against the Asian Longhorned Beetle have a chance to voice their concerns Wednesday.
Staff with the ALB Eradication Program will hold open office hours Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the office’s location at 1761 State Route 125 in Amelia.
Crews are still conducting work in the county to get rid of the dreaded insect. Tree removal crews are inspecting trees in the area and removed any trees that may be infected.
Officials said property owners should call 513-226-9138 if they have any concerns when a contractor comes in to remove a tree.
Residents can also call 513‐381‐7180 to report infested trees or unauthorized wood movements.
Officials said people are asked not to move wood debris or firewood outside of regulated areas or the East Fork State Park.
