CINCINNATI - Sorry, kids. That super cool water feature in Over-the-Rhine's Washington Park has to close Monday.

But it's only for a few days.

The Cincinnati Center City Development Corp., or 3CDC, announced that the water feature must close from July 22 through July 24 for a mid-season cleaning that's required by Ohio code. The attraction is 7,000 square feet big and has 130 pop jets. At night, lights make the water look like different colors.

Cincinnati Parks staff will do the maintenance work. And if it goes faster than expected the water feature could re-open Wednesday, according to the announcement.

Fortunately, it looks like it won't be quite as hot this week.

All other events scheduled for the park will go on as planned according to 3CDC. For more information about what's planned, go to www.washingtonpark.org .
