CINCINNATI -- After seven years and continually increasing attendance, Cincinnati’s Brew Ha-Ha event is set to expand itself.
Event organizers said the beer and comedy festival will now fun for three days in August.
This year the festival will be held on Thursday, Aug. 21, Friday Aug. 22 and Saturday, Aug. 23. The event is expected to draw more than 20,000 people to Sawyer Point.
The show will feature three headliners, 50 comedians and more than 120 different beers. This year the Fat Tire and Deschutes breweries will be hosting two 100-seat beer gardens.
The headliners this year will be Bobcat Goldthwait on Aug. 21, the Sklar Brothers on Aug. 22, and David Alan Grier on Aug. 23. In addition to the main stage, there are three other stages offering brief sets from other comedians. The festival also features performances on the main stage from KY Myle, Gee Your Band Smells Terrific, and CODE.
There’s more than just beer this year. Brew Ha-Ha will also feature Barefoot wine, Eli’s BBQ and the Hungry Food Truck as well as returning vendors Krimmer's Italianette Pizza, Island Noodles, Wertheim's, Taco Joe's Food Truck and the Urban Grill Food Truck.
Admission to the event is free, but those wishing to samples the beer and wine will have to purchase a wristband each day for $5. Beer samples are $1 and a full serving is $5.
