Cincinnati welcomes the first baby born in 2014

CINCINNATI -- Good Samaritan Hospital welcomed its first baby born in 2014 at exactly midnight.

Korbin Michael Hampton was born at 12:00:45 a.m. on January 1 to Emily and Jeremy Hampton.

This is the Okeana couple's third child. 

Three other early births were reported in the Tri-State.

The first baby born at Christ Hospital for the new year arrived at 3:18 a.m.

The first child born at University Medical Center arrived at 12:11 a.m.

Mercy Health welcomed a baby boy at 7:15 a.m. on New Years Day.
