Cincinnati police arrest suspect in Clifton bank robbery

CINCINNATI - Cincinnati police have made an arrest related to a bank robbery that took place in Clifton Saturday afternoon.

Shortly after the robbery of the Fifth Third Bank located on Calhoun Street, an officer observed a suspect matching the description of the bank robber walking westbound on Martin Luther King Drive and took him into custody.

The suspect has been identified by police as Terry Williams, 37. Police say Williams was arrested for robbery and transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Police say Williams entered the bank and demanded cash from a teller around 12:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Williams made off with an undetermined amount of cash and is reported to have fled the bank on foot and traveled westbound down Calhoun Street.

The suspect was described by witnesses as an approximately 6-foot tall, 30-year-old white male with cropped blond hair and a slim build. He was wearing a green T-shirt, dark jacket and blue jeans at the time of the offense, police say.
