Cincinnati fire crews respond to Glenwood fire, one rescued

CINCINNATI - Fire crews responded to a structure fire at 826 Glenwood Place around 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon, fire crews report.

One person was rescued from the blaze. Two families were displaced by the fire, according to dispatch. Reports indicate 11 people have been displaced as a result of the fire.

Fire crews attempted to contain the blaze without entering the home.

Glenwood Avenue between Glenwood Place and Goss Road was closed as fire crews dealt with the blaze. The roadway was closed for about three hours until just after 5 p.m.

The residential structure is located off of Glenwood Avenue, between Reading Road and Victory Parkway.
