It Takes a Village: Young performers in Fort Thomas create and stage their own show

FORT THOMAS, KY - Caroline Stine was just 13 years old when she first recruited friends to her Fort Thomas backyard to stage summer theater, and she’s been holding her own theater program in town nearly every summer since.

What sets Stine’s Cliffview Players apart?: The kids create and stage original work.

Let’s drop into a workshop and talk with Caroline and some of her students about what they call “devised collaborative theater.” The Cliffview Players are performing Romeo y Margarita — a mashup of "Romeo & Juliet" with a Peruvian folk tale from Aug. 8-11 in the basement-level theater at Village Players.
