Anthony Sturgeon: Bellevue man accused of killing brother scheduled for arraignment

BELLEVUE, Ky. -- A Northern Kentucky man accused of killing his brother is scheduled for arraignment in a Campbell County courtroom Wednesday morning.

Anthony Sturgeon, 53, is charged with murder in the death of his brother, 52-year-old Randall Sturgeon.

Police say the shooting happened on July 1 at the home the brothers shared on Ward Avenue.

The brothers had an argument over a computer owned by Anthony Sturgeon's son, according to investigators.

Officers say Anthony Sturgeon used a handgun to shoot his brother. They also say no one else was home at the time of the incident.

Bellevue Detective Jon McClain said Anthony Sturgeon called 911 and told Campbell County dispatchers that he accidently shot his brother.

He is being held at the Campbell County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court at 8:30 a.m.
