Flames consume West Chester house

WEST CHESTER TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- A house was completely engulfed in flames Tuesday morning on Timberjack Way.

Flames and heavy smoke were visible when fire crews arrived on the scene after 9 a.m. Authorities on scene believed the fire started in the kitchen of the house.

The owner of the house was at work when the incident occured. A dog was rescued from the basement by firefighters.

Crews re-entered the house by 10:30 a.m. to make sure flames were completely out. The house, valued at approximately $130,000, was a complete loss.
