A man was arrested after police say he stole the vehicle of a good Samaritan who responded to a crash the accused was involved in.

ST. CLAIR TWP., Ohio -- A man was arrested after police say he stole the vehicle of a good Samaritan who responded to a crash the accused was involved in.
Police say the suspect was the driver of an overturned vehicle that struck a house at about 4:35 a.m. in the 2300 block of Hamilton Eaton Road, just north of Hamilton.
The good Samaritan told investigators the people in the crashed vehicle looked to have minor injuries and after he got out of his car to help, the suspect took his car and sped north on Highway 127.
Officers pursued and used stop sticks in the area of Seven Mile to attempt to halt the stolen vehicle.
The man accused of taking the car was arrested by police shortly after 5 a.m.
