ROSS TWP., Ohio -- Four teenagers suffered minor injuries Sunday night when the pickup truck they were riding in crashed and nearly split in half.

The accident occurred at about 10:20 p.m. when the driver lost control of the red pickup truck while traveling around a bend near 2728 Hamilton Cleves Rd. The southbound vehicle stopped when it struck a utility pole.

All four teenagers were injured in the crash, including one who was ejected from the vehicle.

Two of the teenagers were transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment. The other two refused treatment and were taken home by Ross Township police.

All of four of the passengers are expected to be OK, according to officials at the scene.

The roadway was closed for about an hour and a half while officials from Ross Township and Morgantown investigated and cleared the wreckage.
