Cops: Burglars took Corvette, guns, jewelry in Ross Township

Two suspects arrested

ROSS TWP., Ohio -  Two men have been arrested for allegedly stealing a Chevrolet Corvette, firearms, jewelry and power tools in several recent burglaries in Ross Township, Chief Michael Broughton said Thursday.

The two suspects are Coty Everett King,  20, of Ross Township, and Joe Smith Jr,, 34, of Oxford.

“After our investigator identified the suspects … we contacted several surrounding agencies with the information and case details.  Those agencies joined in the investigation and were able to link the suspects to similar crimes committed in their jurisdictions,” Broughton said.

King and Smith were apprehended Wednesday with the cooperation of  the Colerain police, Broughton said.
