Rose Mary Hemesath, 73, of Middletown, died Oct. 10.
Hemesath was born in Effingham, Ill. She was a nursing instructor at Olivet Nazarene College in Bourbonnais, Ill., and director of nursing at the Alexian Brothers Hospital Medical Center in Chicago. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish in Middletown, according to Herr Riggs Funeral Home website, www.herr-riggs.com.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, James F. Hemesath; two daughters, Elizabeth McCain, and husband Mark, and Amy Romey, and husband Christopher Romey; three grandchildren, Noah, Addison and Lily; two sisters, Carol Plunkett and Dorothy Arnold, husband Arlen; and several nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Holy Trinity Church – Holy Family Parish, 301 Clark St., Middletown.
