LIBERTY TWP., Ohio - Butler County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Fairfield soccer coaching director on two counts of voyeurism Monday.

Craig Rhodis, 42 of Liberty Township, was charged with two counts of voyeurism after a 17-year-old girl filed a complaint with the sheriff's department stating she felt Rhodis was watching her change clothes after a soccer training session. Rhodis is the Director of Coaching/Training for the Fairfield Optimist Club.

The teenager stated in her complaint that Rhodis offered to let her change clothes at a bathroom in his residence after a private session. Investigators discovered Rhodis allegedly videotaped the teenager in the bathroom.

A further investigation found video evidence that a 21-year-old woman changing at his house was recorded without her knowledge as well.

Marco Garcia, also a soccer player and coach at the same athletic training facility, said he was shocked to hear the news.

"Surprising as heck. Every time we play, he is here aggressive, always playing, helping people...I would have never suspected it," said Garcia.

Liberty Township resident Scott Tillery told 9 On Your Side he's known Rhodis and his family for years.

"Certainly knowing what I know about Craig, it's been shocking to say the least."

Rhodis was booked at the Butler County Jail and then released on a $2,000 bond Monday night.

Voyeurism is a first-degree misdemeanor.
