HAMILTON, Ohio -- A man was shot multiple times in an apartment complex's parking lot in Hamilton early Friday.
Police say the shooting happened at about 2:45 a.m. at the Indian Springs Apartment Complex located in the 300 block of Hampshire Drive.
Derrick Brown, 34, was found on the ground in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds and was flown to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Hamilton police said it was during a verbal altercation with the suspect that Brown was shot an unknown amount of times.
Investigators said the shooter may have been running toward Princeton Drive wearing all dark clothing. Officers are searching for a dark colored small model SUV and say the driver of the vehicle is considered to be armed and dangerous.
