DeAndrew Jackson homicide: Phillip Coleman III sought for Hamilton shooting death

HAMILTON, Ohio – Police are asking anyone with information about the location of Phillip Coleman III to call their department.

Coleman is wanted in connection with the shooting death of DeAndrew Jackson on March 21.  The incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Pershing Avenue and South Front Street.

Jackson was alive when police arrived on the scene that Friday. He died at University Hospital a short time after transport.

A Butler court issued a warrant for Coleman’s arrest on a single charge of murder Wednesday, March 26.

Coleman, 26, is described as 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 196 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Police consider Coleman armed and dangerous.
