Friends and family will gather for an event to honor Katelyn Markham

Friends and family will come together at Harbin Park's Overlook Shelter on April 21, 2012 for a "Hope for Katelyn: An Awareness Event".

The park is located at 1300 Hunter Road in Fairfield, Ohio and the event starts at 4:00p.m.

The event is free and attendees will receive flower seeds to plant at home, to "watch hope grow" for Katelyn along with other awareness material.

People are welcome to bring short poems, quotes and more to read aloud if they wish. Local artist Dizzy Citizen will perform. There will also be free refreshments.

The event will be held rain or shine.

Katelyn Markham has been missing since August 14, 2011. She was last seen in her Fairfield, Ohio residence. Her car, keys, and purse were all discovered in her condo. Her cell phone was also missing.
