MIDDLETOWN, Ohio – Narcotics agents, acting on a tip,  arrested a man with $10,000 worth of prescription pain pills he obtained illegally out of state, according to Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones.

Denny Gambrell, 69, Harrison Ohio, was apprehended at Speedway at 4320 Roosevelt Blvd. in Middletown this month. Agents said they confiscated more than 300 Roxicet (oxycodone/acetaminophen) pills.

Gambrell regularly went out of state to buy large quantities of Roxicet, according to a tip to the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Taskforce (B.U.R.N.).

“I am tired of these thugs bringing this stuff into this county," Jones said in a release. "I have my guys working diligently on tips and leads as well as agents gathering intel on when, where and how it’s coming here, and obviously it is paying off."
