HANOVER Twp., Ohio -- Two people are dead after a single-vehicle crash in Hanover Township on Sunday.
The crash happened at about 4:45 p.m. in the 2100 block of Mormon Road.
Police say Nancy S. Myers, 47, of Hanover Township, was driving north of Morman Road, very close to her residence, with passenger Charles D. Griffin, 53, of Fairfield.
A preliminary investigation shows Myers lost control of her 2006 Saab, went off the right side of the road and crashed into a group of trees, according to officers.
The vehicle came to rest on its top with Myers and Griffin trapped inside.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Butler County Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team (S.T.A.R.T.) and the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
